Challenge/Solution: Constructed on the former Bethlehem Steel site in Bethlehem, PA , Joseph Miorelli & Co., Inc. changed the roof specification from tapered rigid insulation to lightweight insulating concrete (LWIC). Among the many benefits of this new construction, the materials used by Miorelli allowed for a significantly faster installation in addition to substantial cost savings for the owner. Miorelli succeeded in completing the casino's new roof ahead of project deadline.
